Ollie Robinson and Mia Baker Expect Baby After Heartbreaking Miscarriage

England cricket star Ollie Robinson and his influencer wife Mia Baker are expecting their first child together. The couple, married last year, recently shared their joy after enduring a devastating miscarriage last summer.

From Loss to New Beginnings

Ollie, 32, a right-arm medium-pace bowler for Sussex and England, expressed relief following the pregnancy confirmation. “After our sad news last summer, we got the amazing news in December that Mia was pregnant again,” Ollie shared. “It came with a lot of excitement, but also some fear and anxiety after all we had already been through. As soon as we could, we went for a reassurance scan. Seeing the baby’s heartbeat was a feeling like no other, just pure relief for both of us. The happiest tears and a moment we’ll never forget.”

Mia, 31 and now 20 weeks pregnant, highlighted the importance of support. “I hadn’t realised how many women go through it, often without speaking,” she said. “Opening up really helped me and having the right support around me, especially Ollie’s mum.” The pair kept the news private during recent work tours in South Africa.

Building a Blended Family

Ollie, already father to five-year-old daughter Sienna from a previous eight-year relationship with Lauren Rose Pullen, emphasizes the positive family dynamic. The couple split three months before their planned wedding in 2023. Mia noted, “It’s so special seeing how excited Ollie’s daughter is about becoming a big sister. She already loves talking to the baby, which makes it all feel very real, and makes us even more excited about growing our family together.”

Ollie added, “I introduced my daughter Sienna to Mia a few months after our first date, and she was incredible with her from the off. It really made me realise what an amazing mum Mia was going to be.”

A Shared Passion for Sport

Mia, a content creator and sports presenter with 365,000 Instagram followers, met Ollie in 2023 while working in the golf content sector. They connected over their love of sport and jet-setting lifestyles. “We were really lucky to meet at a time when we both had been through a lot personally, and quickly realised we shared many of the same values and ambitions,” Mia explained. “From the beginning, honesty has been the foundation of our relationship.”

Their first date was a simple walk in Hyde Park with coffee. “Ollie is incredibly kind and thoughtful, and I feel very lucky to have that in a partner,” she said. “Sometimes you just know you’ve found your person.”

They got engaged on Mia’s 30th birthday in September 2024 during a surprise dinner with friends and family, followed by a proposal in their hotel room. The couple married last year at Marylebone Town Hall.

Meanwhile, Ollie, once hailed as a world-class bowler, faces fitness challenges after minor groin surgery in February 2025. He hopes to return to the England team soon.
