Oklahoma State University’s softball team postponed its game against Wichita State following a fatal collision involving the team’s bus on Interstate 35 in Noble County, Oklahoma.
Details of the Incident
The crash occurred around 2:05 p.m. on Wednesday when the bus struck a 62-year-old woman, resulting in her death. Authorities closed the northbound lanes of the highway for approximately two hours after the accident.
Emergency responders received multiple 911 calls moments before the collision, reporting a woman leaping in and out of traffic near the crash site. The first call arrived just one minute prior to the incident. Officials have not confirmed if this was the same individual involved in the fatal crash.
