An insider described the wedding day as “special, intimate and emotional.” It has been reported that the couple’s son, Axel, played a significant role in the ceremony. The source added that Perrie Edwards looked “radiant” and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was seen smiling throughout the day, calling it a “truly beautiful day.”
The decision to marry in Portugal, specifically the Algarve region, was reportedly a natural one for the couple, who have a home there and are fond of the area. Guests were reportedly accommodated at the five-star Conrad Algarve hotel, with room rates reaching up to £2,800 per night. Among the attendees were Perrie Edwards’ former Little Mix bandmates Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, as well as several of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s football associates, including ex-Arsenal player Carl Jenkinson and Fulham’s Harrison Reed.
