Tom Brady shares warm Mother’s Day messages on Instagram, honoring ex-partners Gisele Bündchen and Bridget Moynahan, his sisters, mother, and mothers everywhere.
Family Moments Captured in Posts
Brady posts a series of photos highlighting special bonds. One image features Bündchen kissing young Jack Moynahan while his mother, Bridget, smiles nearby. Captured years ago, the picture shows Jack before he grew taller than his 6-foot-4 father. Now 18, Jack towers over Brady.
Additional slides include Brady’s sisters Julie, Maureen, and Nancy, plus a tender shot of his three children cuddling with Bündchen. Another photo shows his mother, Galynn, holding her granddaughter.
Special Nod to His Mother
Brady captions the image of his mother: ‘Happy Mother’s Day to the best mom in the world. This picture perfectly sums up who you are, Mom.’
Throughout his NFL career, Brady frequently ended TV interviews with a shoutout: ‘Hi, Mom.’ Galynn battled and overcame breast cancer in April 2017.
Co-Parenting with Exes
Despite their 2022 divorce after 13 years of marriage, Brady and Bündchen maintain positive public comments about each other on social media. They share 16-year-old son Benjamin and 13-year-old daughter Vivian Lake. Bündchen also has another child with partner Joaquim Valente.
Brady and Moynahan never married but welcomed son Jack after their late 2006 breakup. Reflecting on the situation in a 2020 Howard Stern interview, Brady states: ‘Next thing you know, I found out that Bridget was pregnant with our son. So that was a very unique time … and it challenged me in a lot of ways, again, to grow up in a different way. It was very hard for [Bündchen] to think she fell in love with this guy, and then now this guy’s ex-girlfriend’s pregnant. And it was very challenging for my son’s mom, [Moynahan] because she didn’t envision that either.’
Brady made similar Mother’s Day posts last year, thanking Moynahan, Bündchen, his sisters, and mother.
