The ITV2 reality series TOWIE featured a heartfelt onscreen dedication to former stars Jake Hall and Jordan Wright at the end of Sunday night’s episode. The message stated: ‘In Memory to Jordan Wright 1992 to 2026. In Memory of Jake Hall 1990 to 2026.’
Jake Hall’s Tragic Death in Mallorca
Jake Hall, who appeared on TOWIE from series 14 to 18, died at age 35 on Wednesday. Police discovered his body around 7:30 a.m. at a rented property in Santa Margalida, Mallorca, with fatal injuries from smashing his head through a glass door.
Reports indicate Hall spent Tuesday evening out in Palma before returning to the villa with two men and three women to continue partying. Music played into the early hours until a loud crash at 7:15 a.m. alerted neighbors. Witnesses say Hall mistook the closed patio door for open and ran into it, suffering severe head wounds and glass shards in his neck and chest. He collapsed on the patio, and emergency services pronounced him dead at the scene.
Legal sources confirm investigators view the incident as an accident.
Jordan Wright’s Drowning in Thailand
Just weeks earlier, Jordan Wright, 33, drowned in a drainage canal in Phuket’s Thalang District on March 14. Wright featured in eight episodes of MTV’s Ex On The Beach in 2017 and 17 episodes of TOWIE the next year.
His body returned to Essex for a post-mortem at Basildon Hospital. An inquest opened last month and adjourned until September 14.
Heartfelt Tributes from Loved Ones
Jake Hall’s ex-partner, Swedish model Misse Beqiri, shared a moving Instagram post. The couple shares an eight-year-old daughter, River. Beqiri wrote: ‘I never thought I would ever have to write this, and the pain of even putting these words down feels unbearable. There was no way you were ever supposed to go. My heart is shattered, and so is our daughter’s.’
She continued: ‘You lit up every room you walked into – your smile, your charm, your energy that filled the air. The way you loved music, how deeply you felt every sound, your creativity, your mind, your spirit. You were so deeply loved by so many people, and seeing the love everyone has for you is both heartbreaking and beautiful all at once. Your constant mission to stop me from taking naps still makes me smile. I loved you from the very first moment I saw you, and there was never a chance you were going to let me go. Together we created the most beautiful girl, the one you loved more than anything in this world, beyond words. Your love for her was so strong it almost scared me, because I knew you would go to the ends of the earth for her. She adored you – her favourite person, her daddy. You will be missed. I promise to keep River safe, loved, and wrapped in the kind of love you gave so effortlessly. You are at peace now. As my brother used to say, “you gypos”, I know you’re laughing together now. You left behind your mini version, our River, and for that we are forever grateful. You will always live on through her, and you will forever be with us.’
Hall’s childhood sweetheart, Chloe Lewis, 35, who dated him on-and-off during their TOWIE days, liked a poignant social media post honoring him from friend Dan Bulman.
