Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Rondale Moore has died at age 25 in southern Indiana. Authorities report he was found in a garage suffering from a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound.

New Albany Police Chief Todd Bailey detailed the discovery. The Floyd County Coroner’s Office confirmed Moore’s death Saturday evening. Officials schedule an autopsy, with the case still under active investigation.

A standout receiver at Purdue University, Moore entered the NFL when the Arizona Cardinals drafted him in 2021. He played three seasons there before recurring knee injuries slowed his momentum. Moore signed with the Vikings ahead of the 2025 season but tore his ACL during the first preseason game.
