Danny Miller’s Tribute to Best Friend Adam Thomas
Danny Miller, known for portraying Aaron Dingle on Emmerdale, posted a heartfelt message on Instagram celebrating his close friend Adam Thomas’s win in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! All Stars finale. Thomas, 37, who played Adam Barton on the soap until 2018, emerged as Jungle Legend amid a dramatic live showdown.
Miller, 35 and a previous winner in 2021, wrote: “King of the Jungle! And so deserved. You won in so many more ways than just one last night. Your courage and strength to remain on set in such awful circumstances were second to none. You showed strength, resilience, and were a true role model.” He added, “You are such a special person, always bringing laughter wherever you are, keep shining our king.”
Chaos Erupts in Tense Finale
The finale turned chaotic as Jimmy Bullard accused producers of editing out footage showing Thomas using abusive language. Bullard claimed Thomas called him the C-word during a trial last year, labeling the behavior “abusive, aggressive, and intimidating.”
Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly struggled to manage the outburst. Bullard addressed them directly: “You were there and you didn’t show any of that [footage]. You didn’t show any of the C-bombs, it’s a liberty.” Ant responded, “The reason we didn’t air the C-bomb is because that is unbroadcastable. I was there and I didn’t think it was intimidating.”
David Haye, accused of bullying Thomas earlier, supported Bullard and questioned the editing. Thomas countered by telling Haye to “let the finalists speak,” drawing cheers from the audience.
Thomas Apologizes Amid Backlash
Thomas took responsibility: “I take full responsibility for my actions and yes, emotions were definitely running high in that moment. I have nothing but love for Jimmy. I have apologised to Jimmy on numerous occasions… That is not how I want to show myself off.”
Haye interjected, prompting Ant and Dec to demand he stop interrupting. Sinitta and Gemma Collins stormed off stage, with Sinitta shouting, “Guys, you weren’t there, I was there and it was aggressive and abusive, we were shaking.” Collins, a Thomas ally, later called him “my hero” after a grueling trial.
Bullard persisted: “You can’t be aggressive, abusive, and intimidating, it doesn’t matter if Adam said sorry.” Ant concluded, “Right, let’s leave it there. We’ll agree to disagree.”
Season’s Ongoing Controversies
The All Stars series faced repeated bullying allegations involving Thomas, Bullard, and Haye. Thomas later reflected, “I know there was a lot of drama… but honestly we had the best time.” Bullard admitted quitting a trial for personal reasons, which sparked the clash, saying he “threw Adam under the bus” but stood against the alleged abuse.
Craig Charles placed fourth, followed by Harry Redknapp and Mo Farah in second and third.
