Danniella Westbrook Debuts Latest Facial Surgery Results

Published on

Danniella Westbrook recently showcased the outcomes of her most recent facial reconstruction surgery as she arrived to film an episode of Vanessa Feltz’s new YouTube program. The former EastEnders star, aged 52, is currently engaged in an extensive 18-month process aimed at repairing her face, which has been significantly impacted by a collapsed septum resulting from years of drug abuse.

Ongoing Facial Reconstruction Journey

Westbrook is preparing for her fifth facial surgery, scheduled for late September, which will involve the removal of a rib. As she anticipates this next phase of reconstructive work, she presented the results of her previous procedure, which took place in June. The appearance followed her outing in London to join talk show host Vanessa Feltz, 64, for her newly launched online show.

For the occasion, Westbrook adopted a relaxed style, wearing a simple white T-shirt paired with beige cargo trousers and white trainers. Her ensemble was complemented by large black sunglasses and a substantial tan handbag, with her mobile phone held in her hand.

Transition to Online Media

Danniella Westbrook is among a roster of celebrity guests, including Kaye Adams, who are appearing on Vanessa Feltz’s podcast. This new venture follows the discontinuation of Feltz’s Channel 5 daytime show. It was announced in June that the presenter had been unexpectedly informed of her show’s cancellation after a single year on air.

In her final broadcast, Feltz assured viewers that she would not be retreating, subsequently announcing her new social media program. This show is being filmed at her residence and features her friends.

Specific Surgical Interventions

Westbrook’s most recent surgery specifically addressed a hare lip, which she had previously described as being severely retracted and pulling in an unnatural direction. The objective of this treatment was to restore and enhance her facial features, addressing the long-term health and reconstructive challenges she has faced.

The television personality has been candid about her medical difficulties over the years, consistently sharing her progress as she undergoes a series of specialized procedures designed to reconstruct her appearance. Westbrook had previously disclosed on Vanessa Feltz’s former Channel 5 program that she was slated for six additional procedures over an 18-month period to achieve a full facial repair.

Past Procedures and Future Plans

Earlier in the year, in March, Westbrook traveled to Dubai for comprehensive facial work, including a facelift, neck lift, brow lift, and reconstruction of her lips and nose. While she has been openly displaying the results of these interventions, she recently confirmed plans for further surgery. This upcoming procedure involves the implantation of a metal cheekbone.

She elaborated on the necessity of these extensive surgeries, stating, “I’ve been for umpteen surgeries, I’m coming up to surgery number six at the moment, so it’s quite scary. Since I got older the osteoporosis has set in on my bones. So on this side of my face, I don’t have any bone at all. So they’ve got to rebuild all my bones. At the moment it’s filler, but they’ve really got to do a metal bone. It’s got to be put in there. So I’ve got to do at some point a metal cheekbone here and connect it to further up in here where the bone isn’t corroding.”

Surgical Details and Background

Danniella Westbrook’s facial reconstruction procedures have been performed at Gargash Hospital in the UAE. She expressed satisfaction with the progress, noting, “I have three more nose operations to go. So we’re over half way there now. Facelift has really changed me and given me my confidence back.”

This surgical journey represents a significant milestone for Westbrook, who has battled a collapsed septum stemming from her past struggles with drug abuse. The surgeon undertaking many of these reconstructive efforts is Dr. Parviz Sadigh, who has operated on her previously.

Westbrook first gained prominence at the age of 16 on the British soap opera EastEnders. However, her cocaine use led to the termination of her contract, and her character was written out of the show in 1996.
