Luke Benstead’s appointment was also met with enthusiasm. Pocognoli recalled Benstead’s work in Belgium, noting his “rounded skillset” developed through roles as a performance analyst and assistant coach at the highest level, particularly his expertise in set-piece strategy. Benstead’s “enthusiasm to join this exciting project” was a key factor in his selection.

Chris Woods’ retention was equally welcomed.
