Birmingham’s Bullring shopping centre experiences ongoing transformations, with several stores closing their doors amid a flurry of changes.
Recent Store Closures
Tag Heuer shutters its boutique after three years in the Upper West Mall, adjacent to Swatch and near Marks & Spencer. Boards now cover the vacated unit, signaling the end of its tenure since 2023.
In the Upper East Mall, Kate Spade removes signage following a six-year run. Nearby, AllSaints clears out after operating since the centre’s 2003 opening. The empty space sits next to the closed O’Donnell Moonshine outlet.
Further along, Russell and Bromley launches a closing-down sale in its unit, positioned between the former Diesel store and the site of the recent Yankee Candle Christmas pop-up. An additional festive pop-up, Luxury Wellness Gifting, also shuts down, leaving four consecutive units vacant.
Relocations and New Arrivals
Dr. Martens claims the former Diesel space, relocating from its current spot opposite the now-closed Kate Spade. This move highlights active reshuffling in the area.
Not all news involves closures. Lululemon joins the lineup as a new brand, while Subdued takes over the lower ground floor unit in the West Mall previously held by Lovisa. Lovisa shifts to the adjacent store as part of the reconfiguration.
Shoppers can anticipate further updates as the Bullring evolves with these dynamic changes.
