Authorities have arrested five individuals following a violent clash outside a pub in Llandudno, Conwy county, shortly after a Welsh Cup semi-final match.

Incident Overview

The disturbance erupted outside the Nevill public house on Saturday, immediately after Flint Town United secured a decisive 5-1 victory over Bangor at Go Goodwins Stadium. Video footage circulating on social media captured the chaotic scene involving a large crowd.

North Wales Police responded to reports of serious disorder just before 4:00 p.m. GMT. Officers detained five people on suspicion of public order offenses, actual bodily harm, and assaulting an emergency worker. The investigation remains active, with authorities reviewing CCTV and social media videos.

Police urge anyone who recorded the incident to submit footage to aid the probe, noting significant online interest and sharing of clips by witnesses.

Club Response

CPD Bangor City 1876 acknowledged the matter in a statement, confirming awareness of an incident involving the club chairman posted on social media. “We understand the matter is currently subject to ongoing action by North Wales Police, therefore, at this time, the club is unable to comment further,” the club stated. “CPD Bangor City 1876 has established policies and procedures to address any issues raised and will follow those processes should they be required.”
